Rated 2 out of 5 by from I bought this in the shade Translucent thinking it'd be a nice, affordable alternative to my beloved Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder (especially since Wet n Wild's been killing it lately). Unfortunately, this powder did not impress me at all. It's a bit chalky and not very silk-like. While it leaves a matte finish, it doesn't leave my skin feeling smooth and soft. It clings to texture and doesn't blur my pores. Overall, it just looks very "meh" on the skin. I also don't think it lasts as long as other powders I've tried (which is a lot).Bottom line: it's a cheap powder and you can tell. It gets the job done and would work in a pinch, but I wouldn't recommend this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I had borrowed my bff's pressed version of this several times and had liked it. I couldn't find it so I decided to try this. Like all other loose powders, I use it to set my eyeshadow primer and my foundation (I do not bake). I use my damp beauty blender, dip it in the powder, dab it hard on the back of my hand a few times, then press into my foundation to set. I then go over it with a duofiber brush just to make sure it's spread evenly and knock of any excess. I follow with my setting spray and use a different side of the BB to press it into the powder. My face has been looking absolutely flawless! I love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Highly recommend I use this to set my concealer every time I do my makeup and I am never disappointed! It’s perfect for anyone on a budget who still wants to look like a beauty queen!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The [product:wet-n-wild-photofocustm-loose-setting-powder-banana] is a nice finely milled powder. As a dark skin black woman I tend to lean toward banana powders because of the tint. It tends to limit flash back. This powder is still a bit to light and I have to go over it with a powder foundation. But I also use it before foundation in the places where I get the most oily and it works like a dream. Worth to he buy just for that alone. Even though it hits me with a little bit of flashback it's nothing I can't fix. Given how hard it is for me to find a powder in the correct shade that I like.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I picked this up on a whim while at WalMart a few months ago. I was out of my name brand finishing powder and was looking for a quick substitute until I could fork over the money for a new one. This did not disappoint. There's a lot of product in this jar.. 0.70 oz. I use it before putting on my foundation, which has lengthened the time of my look, and again after applying the rest of my makeup. It gives a flawless finish and I never have to reapply or touch up my face the rest of the day. This is just the plain white translucent powder, I didn't grab the tinted. Highly recommend!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from When I ran out of my favorite loose powder, I was kind of in need at the moment and desperate so I hurried to Walmart’s drugstore section for setting powder. Wet N Wild is a wonderful brand always has quality products for such an underwhelming price. This product in particular is their translucent setting powder- great for baking, brightening, and setting your makeup. The container is HUGE and you get a lot of bang for your buck. They blur out my pores just enough to where I can barely see them. This product lasts me a long time and I’m glad I found it when I needed it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I use this in the "shade" translucent. This powder is very nice. It's smoothing, slightly blurring and blends beautifully on top of foundation. You can't beat the size of this product and the price, too. I haven't tried taking a photo with flash, so I can't speak about flashback, but I can tell you that this is wonderful to set your makeup with for a beautiful, smoothed out finish. The only issue I have is that once you apply, any liquid placed on top looks a bit cakey. It's not terrible, but I wouldn't recommend layering any liquid products on top of this powder.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have used many different setting powders and I think this one is my favorite. Not only does it set my makeup perfectly but it's affordable so any starting out makeup artist or anyone like me who's a mom can really afford this. I like the translucent because it doesn't have any tint to it and he gives my face such a nice smooth matte finish. I like that it's a gentle look that gives you that blurred-out airbrush to look. It's also a cruelty-free product which for me is always a plus. For around $6 you can't beat this phenomenal powder and I will be buying more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from There's usually a fairly reliable correlation between price and product quality, but Wet n Wild frequently defies this rule and this product is another stunner. I've tried high end setting powders and been stunned by the way they've actually somehow made things worse. This product sets under eyes, cheeks, foreheads, etc perfectly, without any flashback. It's got the slightest whitening effect on my skintone, but it's barely noticeable and at this price point I'd be shocked if it somehow managed to be utterly perfect. As it is, you won't find almost anything as good as this for a similar price, and you'll find it outperforms several higher end brands. I have dry acne prone skin, and this doesn't negatively impact it in any way.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I’ve seen a lot of people be a fan of this but I wasn’t so that confused me but it’s supposed to be translucent but it is not, when I applied it to my face it turned yellow and noticed it had a yellow tint. Since I have a light skin tone it was very noticeable so I had no choice but to return it. I really wanted to like it so hopefully they fix that in the future. If you’re more a medium to dark skin tone this would still work for you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it Bought this not expecting much but it is wonderful!! Doesn’t look dry and I always think powders look to dry. Worth a try especially for the price!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is my fav loose powder. It runs a close second to black opal deluxe finishing powder but to me they are dupes for each other. I’ve been using the deep one for a good 5 months now and im iffy on banana powder. Now I finally got the banana powder and I love it to. I love that all three shades can be used on deeper skin tone. I’m use to things being made later on for my tone but I can use all three from the start. This is definitely a holy grail and a great price. The formula is so soft to, it’s like butter and I never have any cakeyness. Your missing out if you don’t have this in your routine. Rated 5 out of 5 by from The banana powder is my favorite !! To me it can live up to the air spun even up to the Ben nye! It comes in a nice amount and you don’t even need to use much for it to give you that baked look. It does not have a weird smell and very lightweight on my sensitive skin. The color is very pigmented and does not give you that ashy or over yellow look like most loose powders give me. I always recommend this product to my girls because it’s very affordable and one purchase can last you awhile and you can still get the flawless look!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The most affordable setting powder that blurs and sets without flashback and No scent. I love my cody airspun and this is very similar but this one has no scent so it wins hands down. You also get a huge amount of product for like $7 this is a product you will use n reuse and does not dry the skin does not cling to dry patches, it will blur pores and just give that airbrush finish for a super affordable price. This is right up there with some high end powders n the amount you get plus the pay off is just amazing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So I don't know why I always get the expensive brands, I usually use the kat von d setting powder, but this is honestly better and way cheaper. I like how light it feels on my face and how it holds my makeup just as well as my kat von d setting powder. For around 6 bucks compared to 30? I'd reccomend this.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I love this loose setting powder for so many reasons! I am around a Mocha-Ebony skintone. I use the shade Banana. It is not the exact quality of Sacha Buttercup setting powder in Banan, but is still a decent dupe. It's a thin powder so there's falloit (which I have not experienced froma ll setting powders). It lasts most of the day depending on your makeup application technique (bake or dust; I bake). I purchased mine from Walmart for around $4.00. Note this product does contain Talcum powder & Nylon-12.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Would definitely say this compares a lot to the airspun powder! I have both & I tend to lead more towards the Wet N Wild one. This makes it looks like your skin is airbrushed & smooth. I’m pretty sure it matches with all skin tones, so you wouldn’t have to match your exact shade. The only thing I would change about it is, the packaging most definitely because it is really messy. But It works better than any other drug store powder! & the price what can I say? It’s only $5.99 you can’t beat that price!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from [product:wet-n-wild-photo-focus-loose-setting-powder] So I love this setting powder because it's vegan and cruelty free it also doesn't crease. So I always start out with using this powder after a primer then I apply my foundation it work wonders when doing this, lasts all day and prevents foundation from creasing. It's translucent so it's good for all skin tones. I have very sensitive skin and I've never had any issues as far as breaking out or just irritation. One of my go-to. Recommended

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked this powder. First of all you get soo much product for the price! I usually use the pretty vulgar setting powder, which I love. I went into ulta to buy the Laura mercier powder but on a whim decided to buy this instead. I’m so glad I did! It is so soft and brushes off so easily. It instantly mattified my foundation without making it look Cakey. It did not crease under my eyes like some other ones do sometimes. I definitely will be repurchasing!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Out beats high end No flash back! And sets makeup like a dream!! Only thing I hope wet n wild does is make this in a container that is less messy..but as for product it’s better than my high end!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loving!!! Since i am extremly pale i bought this in Translucent and it has instantly become my favorite setting powder, it is so natural!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cheap & affordable setting powder that you can pickup at any drugstore. No flashback during flash photography! Although I do like a more finely milled setting powder to give an airbrushed effect. This is not the case with this powder. It will set you in place but that flawless airbrush finish lacks in this product. It does it’s job but if you want a smoother flawless face I would opt out for Miliani’s Make it Last Banana Powder or Makeup Revolution’s Luxury Banana Powder.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I actually use the translucent shade but this is the best setting powder. I have high end powders sitting in my drawer that I don’t even touch anymore because I like this better. I have oily skin and work in a non air conditioned warehouse in high humidity and this keeps my makeup set all day. Most days I don’t even touch up at all. It blurs my pores and just really melts into the skin. And you get so much product for like $6. You can’t beat it. Seriously go buy it now.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from So i got this in translucent which wasnt an option to review! But i heard about this from a online makeup guru and looked till i found it and well its ok! It makes my face a bit patchy. I have noticed if my beauty blender is more on the damp side the product will like thicken and stay put on my skin it is horrible so dnt wet ur sponge to much! Also i did try it w just a brush and it did the same thing it sticks to ur foundation and like clumps if that makes sense

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Well this stuff is basicly just talc , and I know a lot of people want talc free so , this sisnt a great buy for you if that's the case , it gets a little bit messy and sort of dries your foundation weird and splotchy , so I'm giving it two stars , and it only gets that because tecnicly it does give a matte finish but if you accidentally get this stuff in the air and breath it you're goingntonstruggle to breath for a few days , so avoid that , the best you can

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Got this powder after tati recommended it. I get banana bc although I'm fair with an olive complexion, I find that the translucent powders give me a white tint that make me look unnaturally pale. With that being said, I abolsutekt love this powder. J has the too faced born this way powder before this one and returned it. Made My skin was too white and it caused me to break out even though it is supposed to be noncomegenic. This powder is more finely milled than airspun, has no flashback, and sets my makeup beautifully. All powders pretty much break me out so I use it sparingly when I need my make to last all day. Finally a powder, drugstore or lux, that I can use daily with great results. I can pile this stuff in and I never get any cakey result. Really impressed and glad I listened to tati with this one. A complete winner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Made this purchase along with the photo focus foundation and concealer. Love this powder! It a very fine powder that doesnt give you face that caked feeling or look. Not sure if its the primer I use or the combination of all three products or just one but my face had this nature blur to it and it doesnt make my pores look enlarged. Very good price! I was not expecting the powder to be this good because it was very inexpensive. Found my drugstore go to powder!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I really like this powder! I actually had to buy it because I was in a rush and was out of my usual [product:coty-airspun-loose-face-powder-translucent-070-24-brand-new]. I was nervous to try it since I literally got it so quickly but it’s been really great! There’s no flashback, doesn’t have a strong scent. Sometimes it can be a bit drying when baking under the eyes but I use my [product:morphe-continuous-setting-mist] and everything just blends perfectly!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is my go-to setting powder. I’ve tried other brands and don’t see the necessity in paying a higher price for products that work as well or even, less well than this product. It’s great for baking the undereye and great for setting foundation as well. I use the translucent shade and it never messes with the shade of the foundation or concealer I am wearing. I highly recommend this product. [product:wet-n-wild-photofocus-loose-setting-powder-translucent]

I bought this powder in banana color. I am a fair skin tone. Do you think it will be too dark for me?

Asked by: Kaybug
I think it might be too dark if you are fair skinned. Translucent would probably work better .

Is the translucent powder actually translucent or is it white?

Asked by: michelle1111111111111
Not white at all. Their picture isn’t accurate for some reason. It’s a light beige color Similar to Laura mercier/cover fx translucent but definitely goes on translucent.

How do I use Coconut 3-1 primer water??? It was a free gift .

Asked by: Boo1
Spray a light layer on your face, that's the primer (let it dry). When you've put on all your products (foundation, powder, eyeshadow, etc.) Spray some more on your face to set it. The 3 in the 3-1 is if you want to put some on in the middle of the day to freshen up.
