Rated 5 out of 5 by from I used this brand all the time when I was a teen, when inexpensive makeup was all that was available to me. Now I'm much older and I've tried many different brands. But I still pick up the brand from time to time and I'm amazed how the quality has changed. I picked this up just to give it a try and it is now my favorite eye primer! You need just a tiny dot, it covers well and really grabs color. I have very hooded eyes and I have to touch up my eye makeup frequently or it looks oily and gets sloppy. This really holds my look longer and keeps shadows in place. And you cant beat the price point. The product looks slightly darker in the photo below than in person and it dries beautifully

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It definitely helps extend wear of an eyeshadow, and keeps it vibrant and in place all day. But it can be tricky to apply. If you try to rub it in, you will end up with some pilling and patchiness. You have to warm up the product by patting it in one spot, then pat it to the rest of where you want it. I've only discovered how to use it properly after my 4th use of the product. I would probably not repurchase this product, even though it is super affordable, it's very time consuming to warm up the product. However, if you're not a regular eyeshadow primer user this may be something worth looking into.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I first tried this product last year, I have been a devoted wet n wild customer for probably two decades, in my opinion this eye-shadow primer compares to and is better than most of the expensive high end products. I only use a little of the primer, blend it out over my eyelid and up to the brow bone, then let it set for about a minute. I have had no trouble blendinany, many different brands of eye-shadow on top of it. I don't get any creasing, the colors show up better and the pigment lasts and lasts. It's almost super glued to your eyelid. It stays pit until you are ready to take it off, even in the hot Summer weather. Can't beat the price either, would one hundred percent recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I was the type to use NYX's eye-shadow stick in Milk all the time back in the day and always settled for that. I've gotten samples of the urban decay primer potion and wanted to expand on my shadow primer horizons and found this one. Being an old school wet n wild lover, I had high hopes. They were not dashed! Eyeshadows hasn't creased all day and lasted longer than you would believe! I slept in my eye makeup and woke up looking like I just did it! The formula is similar to the too faced porefessional primer in consistency but leaves a slight tacky feeling tto the eye, perfect for applying shadows.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This has been, and likely will always be, my go to eye primer. It is a sticky primer so it can be hard to blend on it, but only if you use too much. The tiniest little bit goes a long way! If you keep it minimal its easy to blend shadows on and it will keep them on and crease free all day long. Also that price point is pretty awesome! I cant imagine using anything else. The amount on my finger in the photo is too much for one eye, its almost too much for both eyes honestly. I will typically use about two thirds of that for both eyes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from YES. This primer WORKS!!! New FAVE primer! Did a side by side swatch and wear test with a few other more expensive eyeshadow primers, and this primer can hold its own! I wear bold and bright eyeshadow and this really makes it last with no creasing or fading. Highly recommend!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have super oily eyelids and I highly recommend this! I don’t find it to make the eyeshadow more pigmented like some primers do. If you have veiny eye lids and you want an eyeshadow primer that will cover the the veins, this is not it. I feel like this primer is more long lasting than the urban decay primer. A little goes a long way and is super affordable. I do notice that after a while or not using it, when I squeeze some product out it becomes liquidity and oily. However after a squeeze or two, the product comes out normally again. Super lightweight and is a non-greasy texture.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This primer is actually pretty legit, especially since it is really affordable. Personally, I don't think I would use it again because I have sensitive skin and dry skin, both of which I feel didn't go well with this primer. Don't get me wrong the shadow stayed ALL day but when it was time to come off it was really hard to get off. I had to scrub and it irritated my skin and eyes, even with a make up remover. It had a strang latex-like feel to it and I just didn't like it. But if you don't' mind having to really work to get your makeup off, this is a great primer for you!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Before the thought of priming my eyelids with concealer, I came across this one and I saw Tati Beauty's video where she she loved this one and I bought it, initially it was doing ok, but after like a 2-3 weeks of using this, this ended up making my eye dry and have my eyelids felt so tight, like I could feel the skin of my eyelids tug and it made a weird mark on my crease line and even though I was using an eyeshadow primer, I saw my eyelids were creasing so then I waited for a few weeks until I started using it again, but then some type of fluid started building up and it got super greasy, so if you want to use an eyeshadow primer, just use a concealer and set it with a powder, or use a quite a trusted and known one!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from This was my first This was my first eyeshadow primer ever and really put me off for years since it’s so heavy on the eyelid but tacky enough to keep eyeshadow in place. It also makes the eyeshadow patchy around the edges of where you applied and also very unblendable around those edges. You can’t mix it into other products like foundation. Though you could use that negative and thus use it to make more precise cut creases or lines. I really don’t recommend it but it was cheap. Yet compared to other drugstore eyeshadow primers it really didn’t perform well enough in comparison.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is my second favorite eye primer, Urban Decay will always be my favorite but this is so much cheaper and works just as good. I have to use a primer, my eyelids get so oily and concealer just doesn't work for me. This primer evens out the skintone on your lids, keeps it matte all day and intensifies the shadows you put on. My make up looks exactly the same from the time I put it on to the time I take it off. I put this stuff to the test too, I waited and I run and sweat my butt off on top of constantly splashing water on me all day and it does not budge my eye make up. Now this primer after you apply it don't go right in, you need to let it dry down or it's just not going to work. Wet n wild eye primer is holy Grail for me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from These is a great These is a great drugstore eye primer if you're looking for something to extend your shadow wear time, especially for the price! It compares to, if not beats out some of my high end eye primers. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I wish it had a flesh color to the base versus being clear. I prefer bases like that because it helps make your shadow colors pop as well as cancel out any veins or discoloration in my eyelids. As far as just extended my shadow wear time and helping with creasing, this is a great drugstore alternative for sure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Eye Primer I love this product so much! I have oily kids and this just does it for me. Helps block the oils from the looks I create and helps them last longer too, recommend you buy this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is one of the better eyeshadow primers I have used except this one is so much cheaper. It has a nice tacky texture after you blend it onto your eyes so I usually like to set it with an all over lid color. I have tested it by using primer on one eye and non on the other and it actually does extend the wear time by a significant amount. The colors are more vibrant on the primed side than on the non primed side (the top is primed and the bottom isn’t). I would definitely recommend this, especially because of the quality and the price you’re paying.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from i’m not really sure how i feel about this product. it was very very very tacky and sticky. which i know they are supposed to be a little bit but this was completely overwhelming. it was drying on my lids before i even had it spread out evenly it was a disaster. i’m not sure if i was just using it wrong or not fast enough but. i’m willing to give it another shot. when it dried it made my skin look very dry and crusty and overall i was not pleased with it to say the least. will give another try. wish i had a photo to post of how awful it looked.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is kind of a weird one to review, because it didn't work for me, but I think it would work for others - specifically, people with oily lids. I have very "neutral" eyelids - not too dry, not too oily. This primer was a bit too drying for me, but the staying power is phenomenal. I went swimming wearing this and I'd say about my eye makeup was in pretty damn good condition by the end of the day, almost entirely intact! This is my go-to recommendation for oily lidded friends who want a cheap eye primer. This stuff is incredibly affordable and it WILL keep your makeup in place!Pictured: Me, looking hella rough after six or seven hours of swimming and getting dunked. Yeah, my foundation is toast, but by god my eyeliner and eyebrows held out!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is seriously a lot better than their face primer. I was skeptical after my horrible experience. It mattifies my eyes and holds the eyeshadow very well. It keeps me looking vibrant for 10+ hours. My only gripe is unlike Urban Decay and Too Faced eye primers it is a bit heavy on the lids, sort of like when you have false eyelashes on. You can still see fine but you're aware it's there if that makes sense. But to be fair those are more prestigious brands and from the drugstore brands I've tried this is the best eye primer I've used.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This primer is pretty ok for a drugstore brand. I do like that it does help keep my shadows on longer throughout the day. My only issue about this product is sometimes if I put too much past my eyelids, it leaves like a layer of color that crusts when I have foundation over it. It annoys me because it looks a bit like dry skin or if i scratched my skin to leave a white mark there. Not sure how to explain that..Overall the product is ok for the price you pay. I would just advise to try to stay within the kid and not to go past that.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I had read rave reviews about this product and had such high hopes for it. I have extremely oily skin including eyelids. I was very excited to try this product considering the price point. However, I didn't find that kept my eyeshadow on any longer than any other basic eye primer. The worst part was if I did my eyes first, and any amount of the [product:wet-n-wild-photo-focus-eyeshadow-primer] touched my foundation, it made it look like I had foundation-covered glue stuck to my skin. I would definitely not recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from wet n wild Photo Focus Eyeshadow Primer-Only A Matter of Prime Finally I found a perfect eye shadow primer ! Ive tried high end primers which just didnt work how Id like - abs then there was Wet an Wild ! For those people on a budget, this is AMAZING. Holds eyeshadow with NO creasing. You also get a really good amount of product. Provides pretty light coverage in terms of covering veins and eyelid pigmentation so probably should go for something else if you have very discolored eyelids. Perfect for everyday and totally worth it!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I was surprised that this worked so well. I used to use the NARS one (with the doe foot applicator) religiously because I had super oily and hooded lids so it was the only thing that helped my eyeshadow not crease and my liner not budge. So I use primer for conforming oil not necessarily for making my shadows brighter so I can speak to that but in terms of oil control this is AMAZING. I get no creasing whatsoever. Only thing is it is thicker so you need to use very little to avoid it messing up your eyeshadow or getting messy

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a really great eyeshadow primer. It goes on nice and smooth but quickly takes on a tacky feel. I do set it with a little bit of loose setting powder once I put it on just to prevent it from settling in to the creases on my eyelid. It really secures your base coat of eyeshadow however it doesn't prevent it from being blendable. I've had my eyeshadow last 15 hours using this primer. It is really affordable and I will definitely be buying it again and I highly recommend it, especially for someone on a budget.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Primer! I’ve always had problems with primers causing eyeshadow to clump up or become patchy. I used this primer for the first time today and my eye makeup looked amazing. I was even crying my eyes out all day and it held up beautifully! 10/10 would recommend

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lasts Through Sweat Usually shadow transfers and bunches in my creases so much because my lids get a bit oily and I'm not big into primers generally, so I was reluctant. But the price and reviews told me to go for it. Let me tell you this primer worked amazing. I'm a skater so I ride my skateboard all around the city and I can get very sweaty, specially because the climate here can get pretty humid in the summer. 3 hours outside putting in work in 80 degree whether with about 65% humidity, my shadow did NOT move. Without any moisturizer, I put this primer directly on my eyelids with my fingers before putting on shadow and even if its faded a little bit(honestly I can't really tell), theres no blotching, no creasing. Can't believe I found a new holy grail! Listen to the reviews because they're right on this one :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This keeps my eyeshadow from creasing and helps boost up the pigmentation, not by much but it does help. I have oily eyelids and this certainly helps with the oils interfering with my eyeshadow. The only down side is that if you do not blend this completely and let a small spot dry this spot can become visible even with eyeshadow on. Does what I explain make sense? I hope it does. But overall this a great drugstore primer, I definetly recommend those looking for a drugstore eyelid primer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Photo Focus Eyeshadow Primer -Only a Matter of Pri The Wet and Wild Photo Focus Eyeshadow Primer -Only a Matter of Prime is a decent eyeshadow primer. It does not protect against shadows settling into fine lines, crepy lid texture or creases. It does, however, make even powdery shadows that have a lot of kick up and take lots of layering to achieve pan color, stay on longer and not muddy into another color. It might possibly work better on less mature skin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is my favorite This is my favorite drugstore eyeshadow primer. It doesn't have too much pigment, but it still hides the veins in my eyelids. It also has the perfect amount of tackiness. Not uncomfortable, but enough to get the eyeshadow to really stick to it. I have very oily eyelids as well as hooded eyes so transfer and creasing is bound to happen, but this keeps my eyeshadow looking good for a long time. I would 100% recommend this to anyone who wants to save some money and still get good results.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Whenever i wear glasses while wearing makeup I always find creased where my glasses lay, so i searches for powders and/or primers to prevent my glasses from creasing my nose area. That’s when i started using this wet and wild eyeshadow primer which honestly SAVED my makeup, it helps my glasses stay on and prevent and sliding/creasing. Just apply right before your foundation to the areas where your glasses touch to provide an amazing finish!! Do recommend for all your glasses wearers !!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is my favorite eye shadow primer, EVER. I’m a pale girl who likes her eye makeup and generally works long days, so primer is crucial. Not only is this superior to comparable (& more expensive) drug store primer options, but I I actually think it out does some of the more expensive brand names as well. There is a very noticeable difference in the wear of my eyeshadow on days I do use this vs those I don’t. With this -no crease lines, no fade! Overall, excellent bang for your buck.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decided to give this eye shadow primer a try since the Urban Decay Primer Potion can get pricey. The Wet n Wild primer is so affordable and does its job for the most part. My eye shadow is definitely more vibrant. However, the consistency is a bit sticky and takes a while to dry down. What I noticed is that it seeps into my little eyelid creases, so at the end of the day, my eye makeup follows the primer and settles in those creases also. I still prefer the Urban Decay Primer Potion.
